A few of you have reached out to me asking about the schedule of events for the next few months. We at CEBA are going to kick of this year with a networking event on Wednesday February 1st from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Vero NYC Midtown. Please email me at

Central European Business Association, Inc. Announces Changes to Board Composition
New York, December 9, 2011 -- Central European Business Association, Inc. (CEBA), a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting business opportunities within Central Europe and supporting the advancement of professionals with a Central European background living in America, has announced the following changes to the board, effective November 18, 2011:
• Ms. Agata Porter has been appointed as the Co-President.
• Mr. Jiri "George" Cermak has been appointed as the VP, Marketing.
• Ms. Agatha Bodula has been appointed as the Membership Chair. The Board of directors also determined that Ms. Bodula will continue to serve on the board in her role as the Secretary.

As we witness the turmoil in Europe around the single currency and the search for solutions, few people are better equipped than economist, systems thinker and currency designer Bernard Lietaer, to shed light on the crisis and to share his vision for "New Money For A New World".
Co-designer and implementer of the convergence mechanism to the Euro, Bernard will be our keynote speaker at an event hosted by the Women's Network for a Sustainable Future and the Earth Institute on Wednesday evening at 6:30pm, November 30, 2011 at the Altschul Auditorium in Columbia University's International Affairs Building.

Central European Business Association’s Staten Island Yankees Outing
Date: Friday, August 12, 2011
Time: 7:00 PM (first pitch)
Richmond County Bank Ballpark

Staten Island Yankees vs. Auburn Doubledays
Tickets: There is a limited quantity of free tickets for CEBA members.
*$20 for CEBA guests.
Ticket includes:
• All you can eat food & non-alcoholic drinks. (Alcoholic drinks available for purchase.)
• Staten Island Yankees Hat: Everyone in your group will receive a Limited Edition Staten Island Yankees hat (a $18 value).
To get to the game: Take the Staten Island Ferry then follow signs to the ballpark nearby. Please allow at least 30min for the ferry ride.
